Gaia Star Map
Gaia Star Map. Gaia will provide unprecedented positional and radial velocity measurements with the accuracies needed to produce a stereoscopic and kinematic census of about one billion stars in our Galaxy and throughout the Local Group. Also data for significant samples of extragalactic and Solar system objects is made available.
To explore the skymap, scroll, double click, or pinch/swipe to zoom in and out. Gaia's billion-star map hints at treasures to come. The Gaia app was created by the University of Barcelona Gaia team and is available from the iTunes store in English, Spanish and Catalan.
